Farmhouses and Barns
Our portfolio of holiday properties includes a selection of traditional farmhouses and converted barns, suitable for large families and groups. Our farmhouses and barns are full of character and charm, and although they are traditional they are equipped with all the comforts of home including washing machines, dishwashers and WiFi.
Cottages Welcoming Pets

Villages and Hamlets
Much of our holiday accommodation is located in the smaller villages and hamlets that surround Keswick. You can choose between the villages of Bassenthwaite and Braithwaite, or holiday in the quieter, picturesque hamlets of Grange, Rosthwaite and Seatoller in Borrowdale. Derwent Farmhouse in Grange is a particularly popular Cumbrian farmhouse that backs on to the River Derwent as it wends its way through Borrowdale.

The Lake District is best known for its beauty but it is so much more than just the landscape. Cumbria and the Lake District is a thriving community of local businesses, farms, attractions, sporting events and cultural treats.
A Destination For a Relaxing Holiday
Keswick is a great choice for a relaxing and restorative holiday break. Its pedestrianised main square, provides visitors with a safe environment in which to enjoy a day of shopping. A Playground For The Adventurous
Besides its beauty, the Lake District National Park offers the adventurous visitor a range of activities including fell walking, climbing, cycling, horse-riding and mountain biking to name but a few.
Water based activities include kayaking, open water swimming, windsurfing, sailing and paddle boarding. The many marinas and kayaking companies offer tuition for the beginner and have equipment for hire.
There are even opportunities to take to the air. Hang-gliding, gyrocopters, gliding, hot-air balloon rides and para-gliding are available at various locations throughout Cumbria.

Lake District Short Breaks
During Winter and Spring, many people choose to take a weekend or mid-week short break. It is a time when the fells are quieter and the scenery more picturesque. You can take a 3 or 4-night break in many of our cottages from November through to March (subject to availability and excluding Christmas & New Year). The region we cover includes Keswick, Ambleside and the surrounding areas. We are a locally based agency and have a detailed knowledge of our holiday properties. These come in all shapes and sizes, with different facilities and gradings, locations and situations.
