In the Northern Lake District, from Penrith, Threlkeld and Pooley Bridge in the east, down Ullswater through to the market town of Keswick, Grange-in-Borrowdale, Rosthwaite, Seatoller in Borrowdale, the Newlands valley, then through Braithwaite, Thornthwaite and Bassenthwaite, and as far west as Cockermouth, Buttermere and the Vale of Lorton.
