On the banks of the River Greta and just across the road from the "Twa Dogs Inn, Glendera is one of a pretty row of stone built cottages. The sitting out area and herb garden at the front of the cottage face south and make the best of the sunshine. To the rear is a conservatory with garden chairs and a small gravelled garden over looking the river - a haven for watching bird life. From the rear this row of cottages seems away from the town altogether, yet Keswick is only a short walk away. The "Twa Dogs is a friendly family pub serving meals and there is a useful garage shop nearby. Walks go straight to Threlkeld along the old railway line, or to Latrigg.
The sunny south facing sitting/dining room has plenty of character with exposed beams and stone-built open fireplace, comfortable chairs and sofa bed. Moving to the rear of Glendera is the kitchen with the back door leading through to the conservatory and a lovely view of the river. A winding staircase leads to a double room, single bedroom and the bathroom, all attractively decorated. A further winding stairs leads to an attic single bedroom with Velux window giving glimpses of Latrigg through the trees.
