This is a characterful, small cottage originally built as two cottages for the miners of Borrowdale and has been sympathetically converted in to a single, cosy cottage for four. Just a short walk from the centre of Keswick, and at the beginning of the Borrowdale Valley, The Steps provides an excellent base from which to explore the Lake District.

The main entrance leads in to the fitted kitchen furnished with the usual appliances and a handy breakfast bar. This leads directly through to the lounge, with sofa and chair arranged around the open coal fire. To one side of the lounge is a dining table with four chairs. Also downstairs is a shower room. A narrow spiral staircase leads to the two bedrooms - one double, one twin, and a further shower room. There is an additional entrance, through two sets of doors, directly in to the double bedroom via a short flight of stone steps – to avoid carrying bags up the spiral staircase.
