Hause Gill Cottage / Seatoller

At the end of a white-washed row of terraced former quarrymen's cottages, Hause Gill Cottage looks out across the valley below into beautiful Borrowdale, with its delightful walks and scenery. Across the bridge spanning the tumbling beck from high up in Honister, Hause Gill Cottage is approached via a private track up from the tiny hamlet of Seatoller. There are stunningly pretty walks right from the cottage doorstep, with the high fells and oak land woods all around. The kitchen has a large table for dining, a pantry, cork flooring and plenty of cupboard space. The sitting room is light and airy with windows to the front and side, giving inspiring views across the bubbling beck to the hamlet below and the surrounding fells. A three seater sofa and two armchairs nestle around the open fireplace of local stonework stretching from floor to ceiling. Upstairs there is a rear bedroom, with a single bed looking out up the steep terraced garden. There is a separate WC. A further twin bedded room with washbasin has views to the garden. Ample clothes hanging space is available on the landing. The double bedroom is spacious with windows to the front and side.
