Townhead Barn is a spacious barn conversion and ideal for family parties, with the added bonus of Townhead Byre downstairs sleeping 2/4 people, these two properties may also be suitable for larger family parties of up to 12 people. Two pubs are all within easy walking distance, both serving food.

An internal porch leads to an entrance hall with distinctive arched window, and from the hall, is the spacious farmhouse-style kitchen. This has a dresser, large pine table and the oil-fired Rayburn cooker which provides all the central heating and hot water. Off the kitchen is a sitting room with wood-burning stove, while a second sitting room doubles as an occasional bedroom with en-suite shower. Downstairs from this room is a second entrance and basement utility room. Three bedrooms upstairs, a double and two twins, lead off a large landing and there is a bathroom with bath and shower over. Through the bathroom Velux window, there is a view of Blencathra rising directly beyond.
