 Funding Conservation Through Tourism
'Fix The Fells' supported by Lakeland Cottage Holidays
The Lake District Tourism & Conservation Partnership was established in
1993. For the first time a means was created that connects visitors,
tourism and other businesses and the conservation organisations that
maintain the landscape and manage the impact of visitor pressure.
Lakeland Cottage Holidays are helping with this vital conservation work by
supporting footpath repair workers in the North Lakes, known
as 'Fix the Fells'.
"Fundraising schemes like these generate much needed funds to support
practical conservation throughout the Lake District. We are most grateful
for the continued support of Lakeland Cottage Holidays and all their
guests".
