Our Bronze Level Of Service
Agency fee of 18% + VAT (we do not charge a Registration Fee)
Our Bronze service level provides a full advertising and booking service for your property. This includes, but is not limited to, promotion on our website with full property details, up to 8-colour photographs, online availability and booking facilities, owner login for personal bookings (we do not restrict the number of owner bookings). Our website is the 1st result on Google for the the most sought term - “Lake District Cottages”.
Marketing
Our promotional activities include press advertising covering national and regional newspapers, tourist publications, bespoke and activity publications and online advertising. Entry in to our full colour brochure that is revised twice each year and provided free of charge upon request and automatically sent to past guests.
Commission & Payments
We charge an 18% + VAT commission on the rental price that we are able to let your property for. Payments are made at the end of each month directly in to your bank account. These payments are accompanied by a statement of your rental income and details of any charges incurred. We also provide a list of all future bookings.
Owner Bookings
We do not place any restrictions on the number of bookings that can be made by our owners. We appreciate that you, your family and friends will want to use your property whenever it is available. To make an owner booking, just call our office or login to your account on our website and make the booking yourself.
Your Property
It is expected that your property is equipped to a standard and maintained to quality level suitable for the number of people that it will accommodate and that level is commensurate with our portrayal of your property on our website and in our brochure.
Tourism Council Inspection
We do not insist upon a Tourism Council inspection of your property. However, such an inspection and subsequent star rating which provide greater exposure of your property through the Visit Britain website and publications. We can arrange inspections your your behalf and assist with the achievement of a particular star rating.
Your Responsibilities with this Level of Service
To ensure that your property is prepared prior to each let, to make arrangements for the guests to gain access to the property and to respond to any queries and problems the guest encounters during their stay at your property. To comply with the statutory requirements for self-catering properties.
Maintenance and Repair
At this level of service all maintenance and repair responsibilities fall to yourselves.
Emergency Call-Outs
At this level of service emergency call-outs fall to yourselves.
